Hi!! 4 ways...plane, train, bus or car.
plane: most expensive and doing the check-in and out takes time
Train: it takes 2h30 if you take the fast one called alfa Pendualr and can cost about 27,50鈧?br /> Bus: the cheapest way but it's a bit boring, takes about 5 hours, incluiding a stop for a break but costs like 13鈧?br /> Car: quicker, but expensive, it takes about 3 hours, but costs like 20鈧?for tolls and another 30 for gas!

i know by car is one way there is probably a bus too. i think it takes about 8 hrs.do you know you will have to come past algarve? thats where i stay!!!good luck!!FREEDOM!!!
Not past the Algarve! That's in the extreme south and Porto's in the North.

Same as in UK - train faster - from 3 hrs 20 mins to 4 hrs 30 mins; prices vary according to time of day, as in UK; shown in euros on the website below.
Bus cheaper, slower.

http://www.cp.pt/cp/displaypage.do?vgnex... It's in Portuguese, but all you have to do is type in Porto and Lisboa. Partida is Depart and Chegada is Arrive. The rest is obvious, and easier than our offical train wensites.
