Voicing your opinion......?

If you loved salt and vinger crisps and someone on here said they really hated them, would u get upset enough to stalk them all round the board and give them thumbs down at every opporutnity and send them abusive emails? if not, why is then acceptable to do it with more serious questions? cant u just accept that we all have a different view point??

An opinion is an opinion wether it is in agreement with you or not.The fundamental right to hold an opinion is being put to the test on this site.
Stalking , hate mail and abuse to a question poster is unacceptable, thumbs down , constructive comment or resolving a question should be up held, but some appear to be taking upon themselves to "police" this site with no authority

I'm with you on this one.

And not only with opinions, someone asked me last week what the last thing I ate was, and I got thumbs-down for telling the truth.

Yes! this a place for questions and answers,,all questions all answers..many times opinions are asked for...some peole just are productive enough to ask and answer instead of judging others who are creative enough to think!

yeah i share most of your views about the abduction- i'm not gonna start stalking you nor would i if i didn't agree with what you were saying.

I used to get a lot of drunken american abuse for comments over the Iraq situation. I either ignored them or wrote back in words that were longer than three syllables- rarely got any further retorts.

Don't worry about them dude, you are allowed to voice your opinion and if you are worried about them report them as abuse.
