The drinking age in Portugal (for alcoholic beverage of course) is 16 y.o. Under that, people cannot sell you alcoholic drinks, it's forbidden by Law. About mozzies... in Madeira there aren't many. Mozzies in Portugal are generally near the rivers and attack at sundown. If you have a big problem with them, you can always use catnip oil. Have a pleasant journey and ... don't drink too much. If you dry the Madeira "poncha" you'll see what's a real "killer". LOL Don't rely on the good taste to think you will not get drunk, it's worst than tequila. One poncha, 2 poncha, floor! LOL |
