What is a good historic town to visit near Faro (Portugal) airport? |
Travel Info Have 1 July day/night to spend before heading to Algarve coast villa. Looking for good city/town/village to spend a nice relaxed afternoon/evening/night in - Piazza, good eating, good historic look/feel etc. Any hotel recommendations also appreciated. Travel Tips Faro downtown and the Faro old village are lovely to have a walk and sight seeing. You can have dinner in a restaurant near the marina, called "Benfica" who has the best sea food in the world. Eva Hotel is near by and it's a good hotel, nothing fancy but clean and not expensive. Source(s): I live in Portugal, worked for several years in Algarve. Go to Faro everytime I can. :o) Other Travel Tips Hi! it's not that clos but sagres is a very nice and historic town.
