Travel Info Are there any good websites for single travelers? I'm planning to travel to Portugal, Italy or Spain alone! Travel Tips Last year I went to Italy alone because I wanted to learn some Italian. I did a course for part of the time run by a company called IDEA VERONA. I met loads of people and had a great time. I don't know of any websites specifically for single travellers, but if you make sure that you have a hotel pre-booked for your first night you can spend you first day researching what you'd like to do or where you'd like to travel. Signing up for courses is a good idea- even if you are not interested in learning the language you can find courses on art, history, cooking, winetasting, anything. Have a good time. Look in the travel agencies and ask for single Cruise and tours. They have all kinds Do not be affraid of traveling alone, it is really wonderful. Just be careful. Have fun, too. |
