Roads in Portugal in general are worst than in northern Spain and France. The exception is the Portuguese highways and motorways which are normally of exceptional quality. Despite, the major difference you will find is obviously the scenario. If you are in the mood of enjoying riding on endless horizons, big distances with no curves, warm breeze on your face... welcome to Portugal. If you're into trying your new machine, curves, up and downhill... go somewhere else. |
