I'm going to move there in a couple years. :o) the first island of Azores were discovered in 1427 it was Santa Maria followed by S茫o Miguel, Terceira, S茫o Jorge, Graciosa, Pico, Faial, Corvo e Flores, by Diogo de Silves. The setlement began about 1500's. The Azores have until today a very important geo-estrategical position.
