Travel Info What is the weather like in Ponta Delgada Azores in October? Travel Tips Just got back from there this week, average temp/27/30 C. In October it,s pretty much the same. Nice island and very cheap,eating out. But be carefull if you ask for fish, most times it,s not freash but salted, and boy is it salty. Have a nice trip. Others I belive its starting to get a little cold around there now... but i can give a call to a friend of mine there if you are trully interested... Here in Portugal is staring to get cold... in October.... well rain and cold is granted... don't know alot about A莽ores but i know one thing, everyone i know that gone there say it's a beautiful place. The Azores islands have a temperate climate all year round practically with no significant temperature changes. The temperatures vary between a minimum yearly average of 14潞C-/55潞F and 24,8潞C/76,4F. The sea water average temperature under the influence of the Gulf Stream, vary between 16,0潞C/60,8潞F and 22,0潞C/71,6潞F all over the year. A long-term weather forecast can be obtained from the Meteorological Observatory in Horta; it is best to do this through Horta Marina.
