The Serralves Museum is a must!

However, you should also spare some time to go up the Douro on one of those short cruises.

the Hotel Shearton is about the best place in town
The best hotel in Porto is definitely Sheraton, its architecture is great. Bars I don't really know, but the typical dish in Porto are "francesinhas" and you can have them almost anywhere.
In my opinion the Serralves Museum is very nice and a it's a good place to visit, but i loved the "Palacio da Bolsa" downtown.
