How far is Peniche, Portugal from Faro Airport, Portugal? |
Travel Info Tried mapquest and various other search engines with no luck. Hotel is: Sol Peniche, Praia da Alfarroba, Estra do Baleal, Peniche, Portugal. Our flights are booked into Faro Airport, Portgual and we need to figure out how long the journey will be (travelling with children)! Thanks everyone Travel Tips In the link bellow is the map of the location of Peniche in Portugal. http://www.nomadsurfers.com/spanish/port... From Faro to Leiria its around 400 Km. To Peniche its around 450 Km. Its all highway from Faro to Leiria. From the Airport take the (A2 highway towards Lisbon) and after you pass the bridge choose the (A1 highway towards Porto). In A1 highway leave in Leiria and then take it from there. (Get a Road Map in the Airport!!) If I was driving It would take me no more that 4 hours to get there but then again it depends on how many times you stop and how fast you drive. All the highways are paid in Portugal so be ready to spend around 40 euros in tolls! P.S - If you have a chance go to Obidos (Close to Peniche) one of the most picturesque places to visit in Portugal (and part of UNESCO World Heritage)! Enjoy Portugal. Its a beautiful place Others Try guidemichelin.com they have a great map and distance service with time roads and prices, etc. Anyway I think You'll take less than 3 hours give or take.
