Travel Info Is Madeira classed as Europe for travel insurance purposes? Travel Tips I am sure the answer is yes because it is part of Portugal. Check with your insurer to be sure. Others as above!....i'm certain it is! lol, ask a travel insurer! yes i sell travel insurance yes it is definatley, it is a part of Portugal which is a member of the EU. Like with the canaries which is not in the EU but part of Spain which is in the EU!!?! Best to double check with your policy underwriters first though before buying any insurance and read the small print to know what you are getting and make sure your policy includes helicopter rescue in the event of an emergancy time served travel agent who has now retired from the industry but still likes to give advise! |
