Do Australians need a VISA to enter Portugal for a week or two as a tourist?

This info is from the Portuguese embassy website.

Visas :

From May 15th , 2001, Australians and New Zealanders may enter Portugal for stays of a maximum of ninety days per period of six months on presentation of a valid passport, not bearing a visa.

If you go to this website you can download info or just do some research if need be.

Bear in mind though that you will possibly be entering a more major European city first (Schenegen country perhaps or UK), this is where your passport will be scrutinised & stamped as point of entry.
