Am thinking of moving to portugal have a house to sell here has anyone moved there how easy is it? |
Travel Info i speak basic Portuguese and have visited often but its the actual moving that scares me Travel Tips Hi!! It realy depends on where you're going. Unless you go to some village in the country side I think you'll be fine! It's a nice place to visit and live if you have a nice job and live near Porto or Lisbon Or other major cities! There are lot's of real estate agents here but go for the major ones. http://experienceportugal.blogspot.com/... Source(s): http://experienceportugal.blogspot.com/... Other Travel Tips As it is an EU country it is very easy.My daughter moved there last year and as had no problems unlike me who lives in Turkey and there is nothing but red tape if you do it right. On holiday in Portugal last year, I bumped into an old friend of mine who I hadn't seen in 10 or 11 years, she moved out there about 2 years ago, on her own, the last person you would think of doing it, but she did, she has a lovely apartment with a beautiful view and a nice job, she is incredibly happy. It would be easier for you as you have basic Portuguese, she had none, always an advantage to know the language !. Sell your house, rent a place in Portugal until you find the right location and go for it girl !!!!!!!!!!!!!!. |
