Anyone know cost of a Taxi fare in Algarve ?? |
Travel Info Can anyone let me know the approx cost of a taxi from faro airport in the Algarve to the Vilamoura resort . As a bonus to my question anyone stayed in the Dom Pedro Marina hotel or the Dom Pedro Golf Hotel - both in Vilamoura? Thanks Travel Tips HI!! in comparision to other countries in Europe taxi fares in Portugal aren't that expensive!! Faro to Vilamoura is still about an hours stretch, so I guess something around 50鈧? Taxis are relatively cheap n Algarve. have used occasionally but i usully hire a car which for 1 week is not much more than taxis in out of season periods came back from Algarve today taxis are not expensive i paid 4euros from pria da rocha to portamao rail station, trains are cheap to 10euros [拢5] from Faro to portamao.Vilamoura is the most beautiful place the locals even say that but the whole coast is lovely.have a great hol http://www.antral.pt/simulador.asp... This is a taxi charge simulator just enter the round trip kilometers. (60, maybe?? I'm not sure). I calculated for a "servi莽o`a km" (different from "urban service" with 60 km and baggage, and it shows total 25,60 eur. Even if in reality it may a little more. Note that there's a 20% charge on weekends and at night. |
