Anyone been to pateo village , albufeira, algarve portugal in the last year or two? |
Travel Info iam heading there in sept wiyj my hubbie and two kids heard mixed reviews just want to hear genuine stories Travel Tips I went to the Paraiso... last year.. and it was amazing!! loved it!! there is gonig to be mixed reviews cus people are so fussy.. but it will be nice over all... I love albufeira, if you havent been ul enjoy it! the old towns a good night out.. so is the strip but if youve got little kids not advised!!! ul have a brilliant time!! Enjoy!! :o) Others If you put any hotel in the world on this site,you get reviews off people who have stayed there 鈽? www.tripadvisor.com Hi, I went to Pateo Village in October last year. Its a nice little place, nicely located so its not noisy and busy. There are two pools outside, one main big one, and one little one for the little kiddies but I must warn you they are absolutely FREEZING COLD - I dont think they have heaters. There is also a tiny little indoor one too but its full of screaming kids all the time so I stayed away from that one. They have a tiny little "park" with swings and a little roundabout which was just about right for my 2 year old daughter. If you are heading to the beach or to the town centre, its about a 20 minute walk, all downhill where you will find loads of little shops and restaurants and bars and things. The beach is really lovely. But as its all uphill on teh way back (very steep hill) your kids might want you to get a taxi home. The people on reception are quite friendly, but the lady is the shop on site is a grouchy so-and-so! But it really was a lovely holiday, the rooms were kept clean and tidy every day I think and I havent any complaints about this place. Hi! the Village, no, but Albufeira I've heard of and know it's great!! I'm sure the Village is great too because in the Algarve you have some of the best resorts in Europe!
