Who goes to Menton in the summer? |
Travel Info I am in Canada now...-20c...I am dreaming of the Beach at Hotel Napoleon...looking over to the St. Michel church up on that hill. Going in August! Travel Tips I have been there once. Went across into Italy for a day as well. (to St. Remos, I think the town was called.) Have traveled quite a bit in other regions of France as well. We lived in the Alps for a while and also in the Paris region (Ile de France), so have learned to love and appreciate the unique qualities and cultures of France. I have good friends who go to Cannes pretty much every August. Say "Hi" to them if you happen to see them down in the area this year :) Not sure if they are going this year, though. Ps. I am a proud Canadian, so know what you mean by the cold weather. Where I live now though, it is in the mid 30's today with high humidity. We would love to have just a few days in the snow and cold to recuperate from a long hot summer. Have fun in Menton this summer! I know you will! |
