Travel Tips You should always travel on your passport =) Others you might need one in case! are you returning to the states after leaving santo domingo? If so, you will need a passport to re-enter the US. but I also believe you need a passport to enter Santo Domingo. You will need a passport to go to Santa Domingo Who cares santo domingo sucks. Puerto Rico is the best. You wont want to leave when you get there. You won't need one to go from PR to SD. But, if you're coming back to PR or the continental US you'll need one. If you are planning on returning to Puerto Rico or the United States, YES than you need a passport. If not, and you are staying in the Dominican Republic or going to another country afterwards, then NO you do not need a passport. You must however check the requirements of the third country as you might require a passport and a visa (if applicable). Also if you are a US citizen you can enter the Dominican Republic with a passport. If not a U.S. citizen you, you will most likely need a passport to enter the Dominican Republic. Call the closest Dominican consulate/embassy to your home to inquire more about entry requirements. |
