Travel Info Is it worth it to stay a night in el yunque and where to stay? how far is the closest beach to the rainforest Travel Tips I stayed in El Yunque in February. I stayed at the Westin Rio Mar which is located on the beach and is rigth across the street from the park's entrance. The prices are high but we got a deal from Hotwire. I do recommend renting a car and doing the tour yourself and not hooking up on a bus tour, it will let you explore a lot more. Others There are a lot of nice Parador's near El Yunque. I just got back from Puerto Rico and stayed in Luquillo for one night and did El Yunque the next day. It's a small inn right on the beach. The room was very nice, but the bed was very uncomfortable. Great for a night stay. There are also beaches and Inns in Fajardo (about 15-30 minutes away. Have fun! http://www.gotoparadores.com/portada_en.... |
