Good & cheap Spanish schools in San Juan, Puerto Rico? |
Travel Info I am at an intermediate level in Spanish and would like to go to Puerto Rico this fall and improve it. But the thing is, I can't find any reasonably priced schools online. And I haven't found any that offer accomodation other than with a host family (which I am not interested in...). Organizing my own is a bit difficult all the way from Norway. So does anyone know of any schools that match my preferences? (Links to websites would be much appreciated!) Travel Tips that's a hard thing to find. Try the University of Puerto Rico. They have several locations, not just in San Juan. The thing is, if you are looking to improve your spanish, you may want to stay out of san juan. Most people there speak english. To really improve your skills, and get a feel for the dialect and accent that real puerto ricans use, try going inland on the island. This will lower the amount of english speaking people. University of Puerto Rico has locations in Aquadilla, lots of tourists there, but more spanish is spoken than in San Juan. Source(s): I live here. Other Travel Tips wao That's a difficult one...HAve you try The Puerto Rico State University?
