Travel Tips Vieques is a small Islet near the coast of Fajardo...has the Brightest Flourocent bay in the world..It was used as a Navy Training field until a few Years Ago..it's another Municipality of Puerto Rico and the Beaches are beautiful. Most people go over to Vieques from San Juan for the illuminescent bay. We did not have time to do this on a recent trip but went instead to a place on the east side of island, which was fantastic. Your hotel can help you arrange either expedition.
