Is Racism A Big Deal In Puerto Rico?

Travel Info
I know there's racism all over the world, I really want to visit P.R., but i was wondering if i would come in to problems being a black female.

Travel Tips
It is not a big issue not to be translated into is not existant.

We are very mixed race between tainos, spaniards and african so the issue is not a big one.

So by all means go enjoy the sun, the beaches, the food and have a good time.

Learn this phrase and use in case of emergency: "Y tu abuela donde esta?" It means: And your grandmother where is she?" Since our race is very mix we all have a grandmother who was black somewhere in our ancestry line.
Have fun!

I don't see why you shouldn't go.
No racism honey, we repect them. A little history: puerto ricans comes from different races, indians, spanish and africans. We respect each one of them, including me.

Let me be the first to tell you: Welcome to P.R, my friend.
