Other Travel Tips
that would be the first, puerto rico does have the power of self government
Puerto Rico was never given powers of self-government.

We have a governor who governs the island
Puerto Rico HAS Never Govern Itself....
We have always benn under somebody else Goverment Spain or US.
A resident commissioner represents Puerto Rico in congress.

This statement is not true because PR has a rep that has a seat in congress, but our representative doesn't have a say...鈾?
First, we have a self government begin the supervision of the congress and the president of the US,the same supervision they make with the other 50 states ( our governor don't have the power to make trades and political alliance or political agreements with other nations of the world). Second, our commissioner is only a puppet in the congress because he don't have time to speech or vote over there (when he speak is because one congress man it was bored and don't want to speak and pass his time to our puppet/ sorry! resident commissioner). Third, yes federal employees fill and pay a federal tax declaration and homeland companies(establish by puertoricans) that earn more than $1,000,000.00 per year have to pay federal contributions and local contributions (and in here are many of them). And four, yes the US took us from Spain in July 25, 1898 after the US win the "Latin American War" we are a war treasure.
