How Can I find a house i own in Puerto rico?

Travel Info
It's in Santa Isabel, Puerto rico. I am the legal owner. my grandmother, who's dead now, had the deeds and i don't know where they are and how to find the house. All I know is that my uncle lives there and I've never met him. it's gonna be a freakin' project.

Travel Tips
You will have to visit the City Hall and there ask where the office of Registro de la Propiedad is (propert registry).

Bring all Your paper work with You.

Will, Deed, Heirs Declaration (declaracion de Herederos).

Good Luck...be very Patient....
Others
Take whatever info you have to the Santa Isabel town hall. If you're lucky, they'll be able to find their copies of the deed. Be sure that you're able to positively identify yourself (passport, birth certificate, etc.).

I wish you luck!
Do you at least have any info. You need to have at least the address of the property or the complete name of the owner. You need to go to the city registry, all the real property is register in PR so you should be able with some information find the complete address of the property and go to yahoo maps or mapquest for directions.

You may also try, if your grandmother died this year and have a land phone to try the phone book and find her name. It may have the address.
