Where are the places to go in Old San Juan that are not touristy?

Travel Info
I'm looking for the Tony Bourdain types of places not the Rachael Ray places. Mainly searching for restaurants and bars.

Travel Tips
Well if you are really looking for the truley local places, you should leave San Juan. The Island has so much to offer. If you can rent a car that would be great. I can tell you where the best chicken in Puerto Rico is. It is less than an hour from San Juan. Believe me, it is worth it. All the locals will tell you it is the best. They also make a good homeade coconut candy & drink some acerola juice(its like a cherry). It is only open certain days, like Friday, Sat & SUnday. & prepare to wait in a long line!

There is a wonderful little restaurant called Yeyos! It's owned by a Dominican family and they have the best home cooking. (chicken, rice and beans, friend plantains, etc) You get so much food for like $5. You should really check it out. I forget what street its on.. I think the same street as Marshalls.

Buen Provecho!
my stomach.
Well my friend, the best place to go would be into Pinones and Loiza for the real back road down home feel of the island. As you're traveling into Pinones, just pull over to any kiosk for a good Puerto Rican meal and ice cold drinks.

This would be where Anthony Bourdain would end up. Perky Ms. Ray would stay toward Old San Juan and Ocean Park.
