Puerto rico drinkijng age?

i know you gotta be 18 to drink in puerto rico. but what about getting into night clubs? do you still gotta be 21. if not, then thats where i'm moving:)

Drinking Age in Puerto Rico...

One thing you can always do in Puerto Rico is drink. That is one of the favorite past times to do here.

The legal drinking age in Puerto Rico is 18. However I have never seen anyone be carded and I always see kids 14 and up drinking.

From what I understand it is illegal to drink on the streets in most cities but I occasionally see that happening. I hear recently that the police have started to crack down on that. The crazy thing though, loitering is legal. I constantly see groups of people throwing mini parties outside of liquor stores, gas stations, or anywhere that sells alcohol. Everywhere, and I do mean everywhere sells alcohol. I have seen an ice cream shop selling it.

I have heard different stories about drinking and driving. If you are tipsy and get pulled over I hear that police can be fairly lax. If you are drunk though, they will take you to jail. While I am not condoning drinking and driving, the word is if they tell you to take a breathalyser test refuse to. If you do they will take you to a hospital to have your blood drawn. The hospitals here have poor service. So it is possible that you will be sober enough to pass the test once they get to you. To pass you can not be a or above .08 blood alcohol level.

LOL isn't that a little i dont know lets say Ignorant! Do you plan to go to college! Or have you already? Ide focus more on important things in life not night clubs! And as long as you look the part you can make it anywhere in foreign countries!
