What should I pack for a weeks stay in PR? |
Travel Info I'm going to PR for a week in July with my husband. Last year we stayed 4 days and could not go to the casinoes or nice place to eat because we did not pack dress clothes just shorts and t shirts. I have an idea of what we shold pack but i would like some feedback from frequent visitors and locals. We are going to the casinoes, out dancing, the basic tourist sites (El Yunque because he promised me we will go all the way to the top, Camuy caves, Farjardo, and of course Luquillo Beach and we will drive to Aquadilla as well. Help please. Travel Tips Well now you know to pack a few dressy things. & also pack the beach clothes & pack a good pair of boots & shorts for El yunque, it is wet & slippery, but beautiful. Also the caves can be slippery, i wore flip flops & that was not good. Pack sunblock, sunglasses, hats etc. Also pack bug repellent b/c the mosquitos get bad at dusk & dawn. Bring a camera of course. & not that it matters to u but girls in PR like their shoes to match there belts, the shirt doesnt have to match, but just in case u want to fit in, lol. & if your hair gets frizzy, it is humid, so bring hair products. It will be warm but maybe a light sweater for night. ENJOY!!! Skirts, blouses, t-shirts, sunglasses, and sunblock. Have fun! If you are hot, you should wear bikinis when your husband is not around. LOL funny Good answer from Nena. Wear what you would at home for a nice restaurant, just remember it will be warm and humid at that time of year. I would recommend something lightweight that you could put on if it gets a bit chilly in a restaurant (happens over here). Also an umbrella and or lightweight waterproof.
