Do I need a rental car in Puerto Rico? |
Travel Info I'm staying in Rio Grande for 3 days and hope to do the following: -spend one day in San Juan -visit El Yunque -visit Culebra/ Vieques -snorkel Should I rent a car for my trip or opt to go with a tour bus/ taxi instead? Travel Tips If you are travelling on your own, you might want to take a tour, but you will be limited to what the tour offers. If you rent a car, you can see the sights at your pace, do detours etc. without being stuck with a group. Other Travel Tips take a bus Rent a car is better you can go to where ever you want and you don't have to wait for nobody, taxi and bus there are not good. The public transportation in Puerto Rico is awful. Dont rely on it. You will be better renting a car. Be very careful driving, roads have craters not holes and people drive crazy. Always look three times before any attemp to turn. |
