Travel Tips This is what you should pack: - shorts, capris, jeans - cotton shirts (white is better for the sun) - loose button shirts (light fabrics) - evening clothes (to go to the casino, dance, restaurants) - sneakers, comfortable walking shoes, sandals, flip flops for the beach - bathing suit - hat - sunblock, insect repelent for moskitos. - a big smile Please don't bring Hawaiian shirts..... if you need something else, there is GREAT shopping in the island...so don't worry. Source(s): http://www.weather.com Other Travel Tips Like you were going to Florida in the summer. It is tropical. Make sure you have sunblock. It's a tropical country and it is beautiful. The people are very nice. If your going to San Juan and plan on going out at night dress to impress! Have fun and don't forget to go to EL MORRO and Old San Juan it's very nice there. Depends... Puerto Rico is US territory...whatever you need you can buy there using your US currency... Yet if you don't want to spend most of your time in Walgreens or buy way over priced items in hotel, I would take the basics, sunblock, tanning lotion, bathing suits, sandals, towel etc. etc. Also weather varies depending on where on the island your staying so make sure to take some jeans or something. The nights can get cool if your in the country. Take plenty of comfortable shoes...or better yet take money and buy shoes there...they have wonderful shoes there! I would also carry some mosquito repellent.... again depending on where you are staying you may need it....Enjoy our beautiful sunsets, as you walk through viejo San Juan and El Paseo de la Princesa. Check out our rain forest "EL Yunque" The caverns in Camuey are awesome. Surfing on the west or east coast of the island...and a stroll through the Bacardi Factory LOL Wish I was going! LOL Have fun! shorts, sandals and sunscreen It depends what your plans are. First of all pack a bathing suit & shorts, flip flops & tanks. Also pack sunscreen & bug spray. The mosquitos get bad at dusk & dawn. Pack sunglasses & a hat. Also pack some dressy outfits just incase you decide to check out the nightlife or eat a a nice restaurant. There are also casinos in San Juan. & if you plan on visiting El Yunque rainforest or Camuy Caves then bring sneakers b/c they can be slippery. A camera or video cam too! Also there are pleny of water sports so if you are into that, bring anything you might need. ENJOY!!! |
