Does anyone know how to make "limbers" like they sell in Puerto Rico? |
Travel Info I remember eating limbers when I visited and they were SOOOO good. Just sold out of mom and pop shops and homes for 50 cents. Source(s): http://answers.yahoo.com/ http://www.buscapr.com/ Other Travel Tips The limbers are made from different ingredients , some are fr om fruit syrups with water.You could buy the fruit cocktail s kinds and use the syrup also coconut in cans the put it on plastic vases and frozen You can buy Syroups of the flavor You want but to get the real flavor ..You'll have to get a coconut grinded and squeeze the milk out , add sugar, vanilla, water and freeze. Ussually You will have to use fresh fruits to get a Good Limber.... Is really easy. You put any kind of juice you like in a plastic vase and then put it in the freezer. Some ones have other ingredients, like pieces of fuit, but this is the easier way. I have made a few. It's frozen juice for God's sake!! how hard can it be lol. just find some of that fruit syrup thingy or try to use a natural juice don't use kool aid. |
