How long from san juan PR to Fajardo? |
Travel Info and then how long (time) from Fajardo to Culebra and then from the Culebra port to Flamenco Beach? should i rent a car or take taxi to Fajardo from San Juan? HELP!! thx Travel Tips nobody has answered you question yet so its about a one hour drive from san juan to fajardo. after that you take the ferry to culebra or you can take a plane from the fajardo airport ... the ferry takes an hour and a half to get to culebra while the plane only takes 15 MIN. once you arrive to culebra you take a taxi and its only maybe 5 mins....l its a very small island! 3 miles by 7 miles!!! Others It took us about 40 minutes to get from the San Juan airport to Fajardo. I don't know about the others. San Juan to Fajardo is about an hour drive.But if you are staying in Culebra you should know that this is another seperate island & you will need to catch a ferry over. So you can't rent a car if you plan on staying there, unless you rent one in Culebra, but there is not much point to that. So take the taxi & then the ferry. But, if you don't stay in Culebra then you should rent a car, it is easier & taxi's can be expensive. I rented from Thrifty near San Juan airport. They were one of the cheapest. www.thrifty.com or www.orbitz.com You can even do this for 1 day so you can explore the island. Check out El yunque rain forest & Camuy caves. ww.gotopuertorico.com Visit: www.islaculebra.com The easiest way is flying from 鈥淚sla Grande Airport鈥?(a 30min. flight) otherwise you have to drive about 1hr to Fajardo and from there take the Ferry (which is not a very good idea in a holiday or a sunday) or a plane in the local airport, if you rent a car to get to Fajardo you have to leave it there. Once in Culebra, most visitors opt to rent a car since taxis are not so readily available in the evening hours. (ferry ride) Culebra port to Flamenco Beach - 15min (on foot) Taking a taxi is a lot of money, if money isn't a big thing, I would take a taxi - driving here on the island is a bit tricky for people who aren't used to it (my mom came to visit, she didn't even want to drive) |
