Is Best Western Hotel Pierre a good hotel to stay? |
Travel Info im going to Puerto Rico and staying at the Best Western Hotel Pierre, but is it really a great hotel like ppl say and whats around it b/c i cant drive for nothing.Also do I have to pay for the tour to the rainforset?Thank u Travel Tips Best Western Hotel Pierre is nice but, there is construciton going on right there on a new condominum complex. As for the rain forest, well, there is a small fee and dress comfortabley. The Hotel is on the corners of De Diego Ave across from the 24 hour Pueblo Supper Market and the corner of Loiza Street. Loiza street has stores such as Walgreens and other local stores. There is Wendy's, Churche's Fried Chicken, McDonald's, Kentukey Fried Chicken. Now you go to the end of De Diego which is only a few steps from the hotel and you are on Ashord Ave. in Condado where there are more shops, banks, also Fuddruckers Restaurant and others place to eat and shop. If you want by the hotel you can take the A-5 bus that goes up Loiza Street or take at that same bus stop the 21 bus to Condado and shop or stay on and go all the way to San Juan to shop and see sights. The bus drivers speak English and the ride one way is 75 cents. Enjoy your stay. Others Pierre Hotel is not the best you will find, but is a good one. It was under reconstruction recently, and is the kind of hotel for business travelers. From there you can walk to the Condado area (hotels, restaurants, entertainment and the beach), and is about 1-2 miles from Old San Juan. Visit: www.hotelpierresanjuan.com Paying a tour to the rainforest is basically for the transportation because visit El Yunque is free (EL Portal or visitors center is $5). EL Yunque rainforest is in Rio Grande, and the traveling time from your hotel is 1 to 1 1/2 hour aprox.
