Travel Tips Depends where are You coming from...if your traveling from any state to Puerto Rico it's consider Domestic interstate so You need your regular ID's... If you're coming from other country...same documents that You need to travel anywhere else..Passport and Visa. Others Because Puerto Rico is a common wealth of the United States, travel to Puerto Rico does not require a passport. It is like flying to another state in the US. No you do not need a passport to travel from the US to Puerto Rico. The new requirements won't apply to US citizens as long as you are traveling within the US. For example, if you travel from Florida to Puerto Rico, you will still be in US territory and since you haven't left the US you won't need the passport to go to Puerto Rico or come back to the United States. The passport requirement does NOT apply to U.S. citizens traveling to or returning directly from a U.S. territory.
