Puerto Rico isa territory and is part of the United States if you are citizen of US you don't a need passport to enter Puerto Rico (since its consider US territory) however if you are a citizen of another country (including Canada and Mexico then you will need a passport to enter Puerto Rico Puerto Rico is part of the US.
