What is the weather like in Puerto Rico in March/April? |
Travel Info My boyfriend won a trip to Puerto Rico from work. I am so excited but I need to know what to bring with me. We are leaving at the end of march and we'll be there for 5 days. Any weather advice and ay advice on what to bring? Travel Tips Download Weather Toolbar - Instant weather reports, forecasts, and radar images anytime for free - http://surl.in/hlwtd261252bmrmtgq... Others Hi. Good question, I'm Puerto Rican and a good answer to that is that honestly the weather in P.R sometimes is variable. During the times of March and April it will rain and it will shine, but the good news is that you won't bring any coats because it never snows. Bring your best bikini and have a wonderful time in Puerto Rico. Enjoy the best scenery in San Juan and the most delicious food you ever tasted in the world. Bienvenidos. (welcome) Expect very warm, humid and perhaps windy weather. We've had a warmer than normal January so the consensus between us natives is that we're in for a scorching 2007. Temperatures tend to range from mid 80's to high 90's except in the central mountainous region which is normally cooler and wetter. You may get unexpected showers anywhere, any time. The dress code here is flexible. I suggest light clothing, perhaps a light sweater if you visit the mountain towns and lots of sun protection even when it's cloudy. Ash, there is a brought right now. It has not rained in weeks. The meteorologist say it will continue until May. Bring a cap, shades, sunblock, sneakers and tank tops. During march, it is VERY dry, it almost never rains during that month but it's starts rainning during april/may. Bring tank tops, shorts, a GOOD spf sunscreen because the sun here is VERY intense. Also there is a lot of dust and ashes from the Volcano in an island nearby so if you are allergic or have asma well bring your medications. You could bring just a light jacket for your night activities if you are planning to go to the movies or indoor restaurants because they put the air conditioners somewhat cold. hope this helps, have fun! my experience living here for 22 years |
