Where do you get the best rates when exchanging currency in a foreign country? |
Travel Info I've been told airports are the worst. Then there are the currency exchange vendors on every block, plus regular banks. Where are the best deals? Travel Tips I have exchanged money at JFK before visiting Mexico. I also reccomend going to local banks. Almost all banks or exchange bureaus will show their buying and selling rates for US dollars.Currency vendors tend to rip you off, so state owned banks are your best bet. Others I went to a bank in Mexico when i got there. It offered 11-1 and up here it's 10/10 half - 1. Never get it at an airport or a currency exchange vendor. |
