What is the best resort in and around Puerto Vallarta, mexico? |
Travel Info looking for a combination of fun and luxury - not too much cheesy rif raf but not so secluded that one cant have a good time. Travel Tips Our favorite resort of all time (not just Puerto Vallarta) is Ocho Cascadas. It's located on the southern edge of town, near all the great restaurants and bars in the "Romantic Zone". The resort is built into the hillside in a stairstep fashion. Each unit has its own small pool, which overflows into the pool below. The architecture is totally open. There are no exterior walls, so there are fabulous views throughout the unit. It's incredibly beautiful there. You really feel like you've won the lottery, and you're living like the "rich & famous".
