Travel Info How far is Bucerias from Puerto Vallarta Downtown? Travel Tips it's about a 15 minute cab ride ($22) from the Hotel zone and about 35 minutes ($30) from downtown (the Mallecon) in traffic. see link to interactive map below and zoom i/o Bucerias is just above Nuevo Vallarta We rented a car for the week it was very easy to get around and we came and went as we pleased without having to wait for taxis . the local bus runs frequently and is a $1 a trip. Other Travel Tips Bucerias is about 15 min from airport, it is above Nueva vallarta on route 200. Car Rentals are available at most Resorts or Hotels, but Busses run every 1/2 Hour. It is a little over a dollar per person, and to go downtown Vallarta you must transfer at the Marina/Sams Club exit to a Bus stating Centrum in the window, to return you must catch a bus stating Sams/Marina than transfer to one saying Nueva Vallarta/Bucerias. It is quite and beautiful there. At the Marina is the Crystal Club, if you like night life. Buses are save for tourists to use, and the drivers help you if you ask when getting on. You must have Pesos to pay, and preferably correct change. As for dollars, all stores eetc. except them, and most stores give better exchange rates than banks. The Marina is half way to downtown PVR, so depending on the driver, 20-25 Min Just returned |
