Usually they are last minute deals. But you need to be flexible with dates, how long you want to go, how long you want to stay, etc. Depending on when you are going during August a lot of families will still be traveling before school starts, so it is likely that they are booking pretty quickly. The main problem with booking so close to your travel dates is that air is going to be higher. The closer you are to your trip, the higher the air prices go, so you may lose your savings in air. Plus, you may not be able to get air or you may not be able to get a room. I think your best option is going to be to go ahead and book now. Ask what the change policy is for the resort. If they do offer a change you can always try and switch to the special if it comes out. You will have your air already, so you won't be paying more for that. If the resort does charge a change fee, you may still be better off going with the special. Hope this helps! Others I would book now ,because its cheaper and in the future the one you want will be booked!!!!!! I would book now. I went to The Marival. It was excellent! We had 2 adults and 2 kids go for $1,400 flying from Chicago. All inclusive, drinks and food and activities. Air fare and everything included! Fun activities for everyone. www.applevacations.com |
