Travel Info Which are the really nice hotels in Puerto Vallarta that aren't full of kids. We'll be on our honeymoon. Travel Tips There are many fine hotels in PV. Check out my answer to "Any Puerto Vallarta visitors out there" for websites. Try traveladvisor.com, fodor.com and other places. You can be in any price range you want. I stay in a condo unit for $250 a week. It is delightful. If you tell me exactly what you want (in town, on the beach, secluded, all-inclusive, extravagent, etc), I can give you some recommendations. If by kids, you means the college kind, they are there for the first four months of the year. If you mean the younger ones, there are hotels that do not allow them, and many that do not encourage them. Others Marriot in Marina Vallarta and Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta. Camino Real, http://cvb.puertovallarta.net/vacation_g... http://cvb.puertovallarta.net/vacation_g... http://cvb.puertovallarta.net/vacation_g... http://cvb.puertovallarta.net/vacation_g... The Villa Premiere is adults only and very elegant. I was "upgraded" to the Villa when my regular hotel was full. Lovely property, great service, no kids in the pool! I would suggest the Villa Premiere in Puerto Vallarta. I just returned from there.... champagne upon arrival, neck and hand massage, scent you want your room to smell like, and what type of pillow that you would like. Also twice daily maid service. Funny most people haven't heard of it. It is a 4 star hotel with only 83 rooms that all face the ocean. You can even get spa on your balcony...... This is an adult only place. It has bed on the beach and 2 by the pool that hang from the ceiling. Two pools (small) and one has a swim up bar. I would suggest doing the all inclusive plan (all food and alcohol), however if you choose not to the food is much cheaper than any of the Huge hotels chains. It is located right at the beginning of town. Lots of shopping to do, and only a 70.00 peso's (about $6.00) to the Marina Area. I would not the Marriott Casa Magna. My sister just stayed there and they nickel and dime you to death. She didn't get the pampering I did and everything at my resort was overall cheaper except the accommodations. No hidden fees at the Villa Premiere. |
