Puerto Vallarta beaches in july and august? Jelly fish? |
Travel Info Plan to go there in two weeks, but I've seen some reviews online saying there is jelly fish "invasion". Is it so bad...? Travel Tips I've never run into any jellyfish invasion while in P.V but we have bumped into them while snorkeling out in the bay. The wind and currents tend to move them around more then anything else. If your the only person in the water and the beach is crowded that might suggest that they are waiting to see if you find the jellyfish. common sense.. As already mentioned, Punta Perula is well worth the drive south, one of the prettiest stretches of beach in Mexico. Others Very good question. As of my last report there is/was no such invasion. But, that does not mean that a new crisis could happen so be wary. It is best to ask at the front desk where you are staying and see what they have to say about the beaches on the days you are there. You beat me, I am not back until 8/14. Gary San Francisco, CA./Puerto Vallarta, JAL. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/puerto_val... ~*~ Vallarta has alot of rocks and a strong current.. be careful if you get in the water.. If you have small children traveling with you, it might be a bit more wise to travel south to a beach called Punta Perula.. the water is calm and no jellyfish.. its not too far from vallarta.. Good luck~*~ |
