Travel Info Things to do in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico? Travel Tips 1. There's a rope course in the forest just a few hours outside of Vallarta. The course is a bunch of zip lines connecting trees in the forest, and a shuttle that brings you there from Nuevo Vallarta, which is about 15 minutes to the north. 2. Also in Nuevo Vallarta, there is a place where you can touch and ride dolphins. 3. JETSKIING! At least one of the resorts nearby allows it to anyone older than 16, I'm not sure about the others.
