Travel Info I will be in puerto vallarta for 5 days at the end of august. My BF and I like to wonder around and see different things, we like the beach but don't spend too much time there. Go to the Los Muertos pier and take a ponga (open boat) at 11-11:30 to Yelapa and spend the day there on the beach. You can also visit the village and the waterfall if you get off on the playita in town. Coco's bar on the beach is good to eat and hang out. A very special trip is to the Isla Marietas, islands off Punta Mita. Ask about a trip. Home to the blue-footed booby birds (only other place they nest is the Galapagos). Awesome caves where treasure is rumored to be buried. Bring shoes and sunscreen. Shop at the Jalisco state cultural store, across street from the Bancomer on the main plaza in PV. Good prices and special things by artisans throughout Jalisco. |
