I've been living in PV for 8 years and have only seen about 5 snakes. 1 in our house. Not fun, but it was beautiful. A young BOA. we put him back in the forest. And all the others dead on the street. We don't have a lot of venomous species here. So don't worry. Chances are, if come here just for a vacation. you'll never see one. Have a nice trip! Others I'm sure it's possible to see snakes, but I didn't. Did see a lot of iguana's though! I don't know where your going in PV, one of the packaged tours? I think you would be very lucky indeed to see a snake if your jungle trip was a packaged tour. Probably have a better chance to see a scorpion. Lots of iguana's and gorabo's but don't think you'll see a snake.. Water snakes are a better bet in the ocean but if your in the PV resort area that isn't even to likely. |
