Do you know where to get info. on Distilleries in city of Tequila? |
Travel Info I am going to PV and plan in driving to city of Tequila in Jalisco but can't find any info. on where to go, where those distellieries are at. Others There is a train called Tequila Express it leaves from Guadalajara and it's like a day tour where they take you to an Hacienda and show you the process of tequila and explain to you and everything, if you are not interested in a tour, but it's rather a business trip I assure you that once you get to Tequila there will be no problem finding thousands of distilleries, they are everywhere and besides they sell tequila on the highway and all over town, and it is good quality too. If you're looking for brand names then I'd reccomend you to 1st look on the internet and make an appointment, many have their main offices in Guadalajara. Good luck! From Jalisco there are several tequila tours. Just go to any of the booths on the side of the street. Go on the town tour, it's a blast. Or better yet go on the canopy tour. It rocks!!! Just dont go on any timeshare presentations!! They suck!!! but if you do go on one make sure you get as much as you can. for my mom aunt and I got over $800 worth of free trips. 3 tickets on a booze cruise. 3 tickets to the water park, 3 tickets to the canopy tour, 3 tickets for the town tour. discount tickets for restaurants in town. free transportation to all of the activities and more. Best piece of advice if you go to a time share presentation is say that your brother, uncle, cousin, sister, mother or whatever is at the hospital and you have to pick her up at...time. You only have to go on a 1.5hr tour after they feed you a free lunch. so only stay for the tourand dont let them bamboozle you into buying something. Use what you want as an excuse but get the hell outta there as soon as you can.We ended up spending like 5 hours there. (we went to the grand mayan.. it was sweet!!) |
