my husband and i rented a very nice condo right on the beach of puerto vallarta and got airline tickets for 1800.00 for 9 days my husband is mexican so he knows a lot about just wanted some more opinions..oh everthing is just a 2 min. walk.

If I'm reading right, for $1800 US you got 2 airline tickets and 9 nights in a condo at the beach?

If no, then you're screwed, suckers deal...

If so, then yes, overall it's a good deal. Depeneding from where you're departing and the season, you're looking at $400-$600 per person for airfare. Assuming it's $500 each, that's a $1000 in airfare, leaving you with $800 for 9 nights, which comes out to $89 a night. Who needs resorts nowadays. I'm starting to do alot of my lodging by renting condos, whether I'm in the US or international, you actually save alot of money, especially if alot of people go... good luck and have fun...

The airline tickets were too expensive the airline should of cost you between $350-$500
i totally agree those airline tickets are too expensive.
Where are you flying from?. LAX?. Overall, I think its not too bad if you really like the condo. A decent condo will cost you around US$900 (give or take) for 9 days. Puerto Vallarta isn't that expensive to Cancun so you have room to negotiate but I think you price is not too bad.
