There are so many! Depending on the amount of time you have there, check into these. The canopy tours in the jungle just above the city. They feature 10 zips lines so that you "fly" from treetop to treetop. Also, swimming with the dolphins. If you are there in the winter, take an authorized (very important!) boat out to see the whales. A day trip to Yelapa is fabulous, and is a change of pace from the hustle of town. Just strolling the Malecon (ocean-front walkway) in the evening with all of the locals. And try the restaurants- the food in Puerto Vallarta is safe and very good.
