What are the problems faced by the tourism industry in south asia? |
Travel Info gimme info related to this topic Travel Tips The biggest problems I have seen for the tourist is the high pressure sales techniques of the street vendors. It's very hard to walk from your hotel to a beach or bus stop when every three steps someone is approaching you trying to sell you something. I understand that these vendors are trying to make a living, but they need to learn to be less aggressive! People love to buy things, but they hate to be sold things! Let us browse your shops without being told what we should buy! The only other problem I can think of is crime, but that's everywhere! My answer only addresses the problems well seasoned tourists face, not the workings of the tourist industries. I hope this helps. Other Travel Tips Tsunamis seem to cause some problems there. infrastructure right now??? Rain. I would guess one factor would be some people's association of South Asia with Islam or terrorism even though they are probably thinking about the Middle East. tourists |
