You will have to go to Mumbai or Goa to see a beach. Pune is a landlocked city situated in the midst of the hills.
You will have to take a bus to Goa and for Mumbai either a train or a bus.
the nearest beach would be juhu chopatty in the city of mumbai u can take a st bus from the st stand to mumbai and ask for further directions on landing in mumbai.

ur other options are asiad busses, volvo busses, cool cabs, ur own car if u have.
i live in mumbai and frequent pune via the mumbai pune expressway
Nearest beach to pune are at Mumbai at about 4 hours by road and at Alibag about 5 hours from Pune or at Goa about 10 Hours from Pune. Good number of buses and trains are available for Mumbai and Goa. Alibag one has to go by road.
