Travel Info How far it is Hijewadi from Bhosle Nagar ? Is this area worth living in ? Travel Tips Hinjewadi is 15 kms from Bhosale Nagar. I stay at Bhosale Nagar and work at Hinjewadi :) and have been travelling up & down at least 500 times. Though I travel by my company bus (which picks me up from University Circle - 5-7 minutes walk from Bhosale Nagar), the other ways of reaching Hinjewadi from Bhosale Nagar are : 1) Take a direct PMT (public transport) bus from the bus stop near University Circle. There are very few of these (approx. 1 bus in 2 hours) 2) Take a PMT to Dange Chowk ( Rs. 8 - Rs 10) and take a 6-seater shared auto (also called tum-tum) to Hinjewadi. (Rs. 7) 3) Take a shared auto from University Circle to Dange Chowk ( Rs. 10/-) and take a 6-seater shared auto (also called tum-tum) to Hinjewadi. 4)Take a direct auto to Hinjewadi. However, i must warn you that this is the least preferred of the options as the auto-wallah would charge anything between 120 and 200 bucks! Warning - the 6-seaters are supposed to seat only 6 people but instead seat 10-11 people !(and it gets really crammed up inside!) Bhosale Nagar has the following advantages : a) It's clean, green and quiet b) It's a nice residential locality c) Unlike Aundh, etc it's not crowded. d) It's near-by to E-square Multiplex Bhosale Nagar has the following disadvantages : a) There are no good restaraunts near by b) It's quite inside from the main road and you have to walk to University Circle if you don't own a personal vehicle. Others Hinjewadi is @ 8-10 kms from bhosalenagar. It take @ 20-30min with your own vehicle at a normal speed. (Own vehicle is the most comfortable mode of transport in pune.) Bhosalenagar is quite pleasant cosmopolitan area in pune city. There is a fly-over work going on, near Pune University, right now. Inspite of this, bhosalenagar is quite calm and pleasant, if you come to interior. You have many places like theaters, malls, coffee joints, etc very nearby. Overall a Pune itself is a nice place to live. But, of course, depends on your aptitude.... |
