Cost of living in Pune?

I am planning to relocate to Pune from Coimbatore. What is the cost of living per month and rent etc in Pune for a three person family.

Is it comfortable like Coimbatore? What is the salary for a middle level administrative manager in Pune?

As a rule of thumb, you can expect your monthly expenditure to be about Rs. 10,000/- per month per person- including children. Note that a reasonable 2 bedroom apartment would rent for anything betwen Rs. 8000 to Rs. 25000 per month based on where you stay. If you factor that out, your monthly expenditure would be about Rs. 7000/- pppm. The assumption is that you are a higher middle class person with school going children, drive a small car and do not have super expensive tastes. Source(s): I live in Pune.
